Zach Williams

Health Educator & Campaign Coordinator, Environment & Health Program at Physicians for Social Responsibility

Zach Williams, MPH brings passion and expertise to his role as the Health Educator & Campaign Coordinator in the Environment & Health program, with a background in climate & health education, social services for marginalized youth, project management, and international emergency response. Zach received both his Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and his Master of Public Health from New York University, where he was able to work for UNICEF Communication For Development as the Disease Outbreak Intern just as the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread in the United States. Additionally, he had the incredible honor of being named the inaugural William N. Rom Climate Change Fellow for the School of Global Public Health, focusing his studies and final internships around the climate crisis’s impacts on human health. He helped to build the school’s digital presence around climate change from the ground up and was asked to speak at the first International Summit of Climate Change & Public Health at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro in Mexico. After graduating with his MPH in May 2021, Zach worked with both the Columbia Climate School and the Harvard Chan Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment as an instructor for each of their respective Youth Climate Summits in the summer of 2021.
