Teri Cardenas, MBA has a wealth of experience in healthcare management and marketing. Teri is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Physicians PremiER, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to this, Teri served as the Executive Director of Business Development at Christus Spohn Health System from July 2016 to April 2021. Teri also held the position of Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President at Baptist Health System from September 2012 to June 2016. Teri's career in healthcare started at CHRISTUS Health in 1998, where they worked as the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications for fourteen years until September 2012.
Teri Cardenas, MBA, pursued their education in a diligent and focused manner. Teri began their academic journey at The University of Texas at Austin from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Following this, Teri pursued their passion for healthcare management and furthered their education at Marylhurst University from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they successfully completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Healthcare Management. Through their academic pursuits, Teri Cardenas has developed a well-rounded educational background in both communications and healthcare management, equipping their with a diverse skillset and knowledge foundation for professional endeavors.
