Kai Moshammer

Head Of Working Group "properties Of Liquids" at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt

Kai Moshammer has worked as a Scientist at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since September 2016. Kai held the role of Research Assistant at Universität Bielefeld from March 2009 to September 2013, and then became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution from September 2013 to September 2014. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for a short period in 2009. Before joining PTB, they were a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories from October 2014 to August 2016. At PTB, they have held various leadership positions, including being the Head of the Working Group "Reaction Kinetics" from November 2016 to January 2019, and currently serving as the Head of the Working Group "Properties of Liquids" from January 2019 onwards.

Kai Moshammer pursued their education in the field of Chemistry, starting from 2003 to 2009 at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they obtained their degree as Diplom-Chemiker. Following this, they went on to complete their education in Physical Chemistry, from 2009 to 2013, at Universität Bielefeld, earning the degree of Dr. rer. nat.
