Martin Thedens has a diverse work experience, primarily focusing on explosion protection in sensor technology and instrumentation. Martin has been working at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since 1995, where they have held various positions including Dr.-Ing. and Head of Department 3.6. Martin has also served as the Coordinator of EMRP JRP ENV02 PartEmission. Martin Thedens completed their Abitur at Hebbelschule (Gymnasium) from 1978 to 1988. Martin then pursued a degree in Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering) at Technische Universität Braunschweig, from 1988 to 1994, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
