Samreen Falak

Samreen Falak is a Senior Scientist at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since August 2018. Previously, Samreen was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Delbrück Center from January 2012 to January 2018, with a maternity break from November 2014 to January 2017. Samreen earned a PhD in Genetics and Genomics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2007 and 2011, after completing an M.Phil. at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, focusing on hereditary deafness. Samreen's early research included a Master's degree in Endocrinology and Biology from the University of Sindh. Research expertise encompasses genetic studies, QTL mapping, and various molecular biology techniques related to cardiovascular diseases and hereditary disorders.
