Shanna Schönhals

Head Of Working Group Information Technology Force And Torque at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt

Shanna Schönhals has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology, force, and torque. Shanna is currently serving as the Head of Working Group Information Technology Force and Torque at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and as a Lecturer at Technische Universität Braunschweig. Shanna has also previously worked at Technische Universität Braunschweig as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin, and Geschäftsführerin des Niedersächsischen Forschungszentrums für Luftfahrt NFL. During their time as a PHD Researcher, they worked on several EU and BMWi projects, contributed to project proposals, and developed an approach for model and sensor data coupling for wake vortices.

Shanna Schönhals completed their education at Technische Universität Braunschweig. From 2002 to 2008, they pursued a degree in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Aeronautik und Astronautik, earning the title of Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.). Later, from 2009 to 2015, they pursued a Ph.D. in Dr.-Ing. Maschinenbau, successfully completing their dissertation at the same institution.
