Gabriel Jimenez has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering. Gabriel started their career in 2006 as a Scientific Programmer/Staff Engineer at SAIC, working on the VIVID project for DARPA. In 2009, they moved to Raytheon as a Senior Software Engineer, developing web applications and providing support for ongoing operations. In 2010, they joined Northern Arizona University as a Software Systems Engineer, Sr., working on the Software Integration and Architecture team. In 2013, they joined General Dynamics Mission Systems as an Advanced Software Engineer, developing custom network device configuration drivers. In 2017, they moved to Hyliion as a Software Engineer Technical Lead, developing several features for a high throughput tcp message processing application. In 2018, they joined Moblize as a Senior Software Developer, developing analytics pipeline and creating RESTful API. In 2019, they joined SkyGrid as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and starting the implementation of a machine learning pipeline. Most recently, in 2021, they rejoined Physna as a Senior Software Engineer, part of the geo-search team.
Gabriel Jimenez completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northern Arizona University from 2001 to 2005. In 2011, they returned to Northern Arizona University and completed a Master's Degree in Computer Vision and Image Processing in 2014. In addition, they hold certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera (obtained in July 2020), Red Hat 7 Systems Administrator (obtained in December 2014), and Computing for Data Analysis from Coursera (obtained in February 2014).
