Laura Amler

Laura Amler is a professional in the field of biotechnology with extensive experience in fermentation processes and bioprocess development. Currently serving as Teamleitung Fermentation at Phyton Biotech since March 2022, Laura previously worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit akademischem Abschluss at Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg from July 2020 to February 2022, where Laura was involved in the commissioning of a bioreactor and conducted research for a master's thesis on continuous cultivations of Bacillus licheniformis. Earlier experience includes a bachelor's thesis on biosorption of trace pollutants at SSC Strategie Science Consult GmbH and a research internship focused on scale-up cultivation of microalgae. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Biotechnology from Fachhochschule Biberach.
