Ian has recently completed the CIM designation, which is a leading industry standard for discretionary investment and portfolio management services. Ian holds Bachelor degrees in Science and Economics. He is also a member of Advocis, an organization whose responsibilities include setting standards for ethics and conduct by insurance agents.

Ian enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, and he is active on the soccer field each week. Married for 24 years, he and his wife Helen have two children, a daughter who is currently in university and a son who is exceptionally skilled on the soccer field. He believes that it is important to give back to the community, and helps to support local soccer teams and a youth empowerment organization in Victoria.
