Oliver Werner has extensive experience in supply chain management and purchasing. Oliver began their career as a Commodity Manager at AFL Stribel Production GmbH. Oliver then worked as a Consultant for MBtech Group GmbH, focusing on Lean Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Oliver furthered their career as a Senior Buyer Global Sourcing at Bielomatik Leuze GmbH & Co. KGaA. Oliver then joined centrotherm photovoltaics AG as a Strategic Buyer and Deputy Head of Purchasing. Oliver later joined ITT Inc., where they served as the Manager of Purchasing for ITT Cannon GmbH and the Director of Global Supply Chain for ITT - Connect and Control Technologies. Currently, Oliver is the Global Director of Supply Chain Management for PI (Physik Instrumente) Group, where they provide corporate governance and guidance for the global supply chain organization, focusing on standardization, consolidation, and cost improvement.
Oliver Werner completed their education from 2001 to 2005 at Hochschule Furtwangen, where they earned a degree in Diplom-Informatiker (FH) with a focus on Wirtschaftsinformatik - Business Consulting, which combines computer science and business administration. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including CSCP - Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS, SCOR Professional from APICS, and Six Sigma - Greenbelt from ITT Inc.
