Martin Krönung

Martin Krönung has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and robotics. Martin currently serves as the Head of Software Engineering at PIA Automation, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Prokurist at PIA Automation, starting in May 2021. From January 2017 to December 2021, Martin held the position of Department Head, Software Engineering 2, Test & Measurement, Robotics at PIA Automation. Martin also served as a Group Leader, Software Engineering 2, Test & Measurement at PIA Automation from July 2015 to December 2016.

Before joining PIA Automation, Martin worked at Preh Group from January 2008 to June 2015. During their time there, they held the role of Software Engineering EOL Testing, Robotics, AOI. Prior to their tenure at Preh Group, Martin had a brief role as Support Engineering Robotics at KUKA AG in October to December 2007. Martin started their professional career at Robert Bosch GmbH in September 2006 and worked there until September 2007 as a Development AOI Systems.

Martin Krönung earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik and Automatisierungstechnik from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) between 2004 and 2007.
