Julia Baumgarten

Julia Baumgarten is currently working as the Talent Engagement Lead at PIABO since May 2021. Prior to this role, they have held various positions in the field of recruitment and human resources. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Consultant Permanent SAP at Modis Deutschland, where they were responsible for the complete recruitment life cycle and recruited skilled SAP and IT experts for permanent roles. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Westhouse Group. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at RED - The Global SAP Solutions Provider in multiple roles, including European Perm Resource Lead and Delivery Lead Perm Munich, where they managed teams and implemented strategic recruiting procedures. Before that, they gained experience in sourcing and recruitment at ESS Executive Staff Services, Academic Work, and IKEA Germany GmbH & Co. KG. Julia also held the role of Vice President Human Resources and Public Relations at PACT (Project Assessment Center Training) from 2007 to 2009.

Julia Baumgarten obtained a Magistra Artium degree in Sociology, Psychology, and English Literature from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they studied from 2003 to 2009. Additionally, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at the University of Eastern Finland, specifically the University of Joensuu, from 2006 to 2007. Julia also holds a certification from the Redwood City Community Building Academy, provided by the City of Redwood City, obtained in 2019.
