Ryan Shaver

Ryan Shaver has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Cashier, Customer Service Representative, and Sales Associate at Huntington Surf and Sport. In 2015, they were the Chair for the Colloquium: Decision Theory at the American Philosophical Association. In 2016, they were the Founder & President (Chess Club) at California State University, Long Beach, a Graduate Tutorialship, a Graduate Assistantship for Prof. Wallis' Phil 170: Critical Reasoning course, and the Chair of the Colloquium: Semantics at the American Philosophical Association. In 2017, they became a CX Specialist and a CX Specialist (Contract) at FLYR. In 2020, they were the Business Operations Lead and Business Operations | User Operations at Piazza. In 2022, they were the Data Analyst at One Bread Foundation, Inc. and the Lighting Improviser at BATS Improv. Currently, they are the Lead Data Analyst at JerseySTEM.

Ryan Shaver has a Master's Degree in Philosophy from California State University, Long Beach. Ryan has also taken courses from Stanford Continuing Studies and UC San Diego, where they earned a Double Major in Philosophy of Mind, Brain, and Cognitive Science (BA) & Visual Arts Media (BA). Ryan has obtained several certifications, including a Google Finance Data Analyst Professional Certificate from Grow with Google on Coursera in January 2023, a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Grow with Google on Coursera in March 2022, a Python for Data Science Certificate from edX in April 2019, and a The Data Scientist’s Toolbox Certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016.
