Dr. Bruno Gama

Dr. Bruno Gama has extensive experience in various roles within the energy industry. Dr. Bruno is currently serving as the Director of Sales and Client Engagement at Picarro, Inc. Prior to this, they held positions at Quorum Software, where they worked from 2012 to 2021, initially as a Senior Consultant and later progressing to Vice President Solution Architects. In their roles at Quorum Software, Dr. Gama was responsible for developing and negotiating commercial and technical proposals, driving sales, and providing technical advisory for integrated solutions in the energy industry. Dr. Bruno also led the design and implementation of proof of concept engagements. Before joining Quorum Software, Dr. Gama worked independently as an Energy Consultant, advising companies on investment strategies and conducting strategic planning processes. Dr. Bruno also has experience as a Strategic Planning Associate at Mubadala Energy and as a Petroleum Economist at Shell. Dr. Gama holds an International MBA from IE Business School.

Dr. Bruno Gama has a diverse education history. Dr. Bruno most recently attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2019, where they completed a program in Digital Transformation: Leading People, Data & Technology. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) at EU Business School, specializing in Strategy, Management, Economics, Digital, and Energy. In 2009, Dr. Gama obtained an MBA from IE Business School, where they were a full-time student in the International Master in Business Administration program. Dr. Bruno also holds an Msc in Energy Regulation from Universidade Salvador, earned between 2003 and 2005, and a Bsc in Economics from Universidade Federal Fluminense, obtained from 1997 to 2002.

In addition to their academic degrees, Dr. Gama has acquired several certifications. In 2021, they completed the Start-up Board Academy - Directors Education Program for Start-up Boards offered by EPFL Innovation Park. In 2015, they obtained the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Dr. Bruno also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification awarded by the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2014.
