Chris Varrone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris is currently serving as the Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners since May 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked as the President of Riverview Consulting, Inc. since August 2010, providing advisory services to technology companies in renewable energy sectors. Additionally, they served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for Eocycle, a wind turbine company, from April 2016 to October 2020. Chris also served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for UGE International, a solar development company, from November 2013 to September 2020. Chris has also held positions at Silver Leaf Partners, Stratalis Consulting, Vestas Wind Systems, SAP, TeleTech, and L A Jonas Foundation throughout their career.
Chris Varrone has an extensive education history. Chris obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Williams College, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. During their time at Williams College, they also participated in the Junior Year program at Harvard University, specializing in Philosophy from 1983 to 1984.
Following their undergraduate studies, Chris pursued further education in Economics. Chris completed their Grunnfag (First-Level) in Economics at the University of Oslo (UiO) in 1986. Afterwards, they attended the University of Cambridge, where they earned their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics between 1986 and 1988.
Additionally, Chris holds certifications in the financial industry. Chris has obtained the FINRA Series 63 certification from FINRA and the FINRA Series 82 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Before their higher education journey, Chris Varrone completed their high school education at Regis High School, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from 1977 to 1981.
