Kevin Lim has extensive work experience in the field of network engineering and security. Kevin is currently serving as the Vice President of Network Engineering at Pico since May 2019. Prior to this, Kevin held various positions at Goldman Sachs, starting as a Technology Associate in 2001 and eventually becoming the Vice President of Network Security Engineering and B2B Perimeter Network. Kevin managed perimeter networks using Cisco, Juniper, Arbor, CheckPoint, and NetScalers, as well as external DNS infrastructure and RIRs, RaDB. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Kevin worked as a Senior Network Engineer at Realtech Systems from 1998 to 2001 and as a Field Service Engineer at PSINet from 1996 to 1998.
Kevin Lim earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from The City University of New York in 1996. Kevin later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from New York University, which they completed in 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kevin has obtained certifications such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2017 and the Network Security Professional - NSE 4 from Fortinet in January 2021. Kevin also completed the course "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" on Coursera, although the month and year of completion are not specified.
