Joey LaBartunek

Joey LaBartunek has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and motion graphics. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Motion Graphic Artist at Fulcrum Labs for a brief period. In 2016, they held roles as a Lead Animator and Motion Graphic Designer at R2 Media Hub / RAW Media Inc. and as an Animator/Illustrator at Tumbleweed Entertainment Inc. Joey also worked as a Motion Graphics Animator for the documentary "From the Ground Up" at Flim Flam Productions during this time. In 2017, they joined Omni Media as a Lead Motion Designer/Editor. In 2018, they worked as a Freelance Motion Designer at Vape Element and as an Illustrator at Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Flim Flam Productions. The following year, they became a Motion Graphic Designer at Flim Flam Productions and an Animator/ Motion Graphics/ Illustrator at Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, where they also had a role as an Illustrator. Since 2022, they have been working as a Motion Graphic Artist - Localization at The Picture Production Company. Throughout their experience, Joey has developed skills in animation, motion graphics, illustration, Photoshop breakdowns, lip sync, character design, and scene building.

Joey LaBartunek completed a Certificate program in Editing, Directing, and Producing at the Los Angeles Film School from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Joey obtained two additional certifications, namely Advanced 2D Animation (Advanced Motion Methods) and Advanced Motion Methods, from the School of Motion in January 2021 and December 2020, respectively.
