Danny P.

Danny P. has worked for several companies since 2016. Danny began as an Orientation Leader for Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) at Purdue University in 2016. The following year, they became an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for CS250 (Computer Architecture) at Purdue University. In 2017, they were a Software and Systems Engineering Intern at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where they contributed to the US Government Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) project and increased debugging efficiency for large scale applications with Python scripts. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Clarity Partners, LLC, where they led an initiative to build a new Case Reporting System for the Chicago Police Department (CPD). In 2020, they became a Software Engineer at WellRight, where they architected and built .Net Core microservices leveraging AWS CDK, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3 and Aurora. Danny also contributed to internal single-table DynamoDB tooling to more effectively leverage single-table design within their microservices. Currently, Danny P. is a Senior Data Engineer at Picwell since 2022.

Danny P. attended Burlington High School from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University in 2019. Danny has also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): an AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty in 2021 and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2020.
