Nicole Stokes

Nicole Stokes, Esq is a legal professional currently serving as In-House Counsel at PIDC since June 2025. Prior to this role, Nicole held the position of Assistant City Solicitor in the Commercial Law Division of the City of Philadelphia from August 2022 to May 2025. Experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Mary M. Johnston at the Delaware Superior Court, where Nicole focused on commercial litigation from September 2021 to August 2022, and a Judicial Extern at the same court in 2020. Early career roles involved a fellowship with the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group at Vanguard and various positions at Discover Financial Services, culminating as a Lead Analyst and Staff Accountant. Nicole earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Widener University-Delaware Campus, an MBA from Goldey-Beacom College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Wilmington University.
