Ed Presz

Ed Presz is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in leading data teams and engineering projects across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Data at Pie Insurance since October 2021, Ed has played a key role in transforming business insurance processes to enhance efficiency and savings. Prior to this, Ed worked at Eventbrite from March 2017 to October 2021 as the Head of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Database Reliability Engineering, where the focus was on building a robust data infrastructure to support the company's mission of facilitating live experiences. Ed’s earlier tenure at Ticketmaster spanned from June 2000 to February 2017, achieving significant advancements in database engineering. Ed also served as Database Platform Manager at PeopleSoft from June 1996 to June 2000, possessing deep expertise in IBM's DB2 systems. Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
