John Carey has extensive experience in the insurance and law enforcement sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Exchange Sales and Commercial Support at Piedmont Community Health Plan since May 2017, John also leads a team overseeing licensed agents selling government-based insurance products. Prior to this, John has worked as an Individual Insurance Agent at the same company since August 2014, assisting clients with Affordable Care Act insurance needs while also contributing to website updates and graphic design projects. Additionally, John holds a long-standing position as Sergeant/Master Police Officer at the Lynchburg Police Department, managing the Crime Scene Unit. Earlier in 2016, John briefly supervised the Crime Prevention Unit at St. Victoria Catholic Church. John is a graduate of St. Leo University, where studies took place from 2017 to 2021.
