Brenna McManus

Director Of Clinical Care Transformation at Piedmont Health

Brenna McManus has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Brenna started as a Care Assistant Traineeship at UNC Health Care in 2016, where they were eventually promoted to Chief Care Assistant. In this role, they implemented evidence-based disease management practices and provided direct patient care for chronic illnesses. Brenna then transitioned to Piedmont Health Services Inc in 2020, where they served as a Physician Assistant at the Burlington and Chapel Hill Community Health Centers, specializing in family practice with a focus on prenatal care, women's health, chronic disease management, preventive care, mental health, and addiction medicine. In 2022, they took on additional responsibilities as the Interim Lead Provider and Director of Clinical Care Transformation.

Brenna McManus obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and B.A. in Global Studies - Global Health in Latin America with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. Brenna then pursued a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with Honors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 2018 to 2019. In 2015, they also studied Public Health & Spanish at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Brenna McManus obtained certification as a Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2019.
