Under Andy Jaffal's leadership, the quality and safety program at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital has flourished, contributing to the hospital's recognition as a top facility for heart and solid abdominal transplant programs. Previously, Andy held roles including Chief Hospitalist and lead system physician executive during the COVID-19 pandemic, where crucial recovery and staffing plans were developed. With significant prior experience at Sacred Heart Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center, The Longstreet Clinic, and Northeast Georgia Health System, Andy has driven initiatives that enhanced departmental efficiency, patient safety, and organizational revenue.
