Patty Brewer Whitmarsh

Patty Brewer Whitmarsh is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Managed Care at Piedmont since April 2024. Patty is also the owner of Whitmarsh & Associates, LLC, a role held since June 2017. Previous experience includes the position of Director of Payer Strategy & Managed Care at Wellstar MCG from November 2019 to April 2024, and part-time Professor at Georgia Southern University from August 2018 to November 2019, where instructions on Legal Issues in the Health Care Environment and Health Policy Issues were provided. Patty led CREDibility CVO as President from June 2017 to November 2019, focusing on credentialing verification for medical professionals and payer negotiations. Prior to these roles, Patty worked as an Independent Consultant and VP of Managed Care Contracting at Strategic Healthcare Partners and held the position of Director of Provider Relations at Memorial Health from 2001 to 2005. Patty holds a Master of Health Services Administration from Armstrong State University.
