Consolato Gattuso

Consolato Gattuso has over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry. Consolato is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Piedmont Office Realty Trust since June 2021. Additionally, starting from December 2021, they hold the position of Member Board of Directors at Green Building Initiative, as well as an Advisory Board Member at BLUME.

Prior to their current roles, Gattuso worked at Zeller Realty Group as Senior Vice President Technical Operations for almost 8 years, from December 2013 to March 2021. Consolato was responsible for overseeing technical operations within the company during this time.

Before joining Zeller Realty Group, Gattuso worked at Jones Lang LaSalle as Vice President from 2008 to 2013. In this role, they led and implemented various programs and initiatives focused on green operating practices, retrocommissioning, energy best practices, and LEED certification. Consolato also played a key role in developing innovative programs such as energy "LAUNCH" and a user-friendly safety program called 4SIGHTez.

Gattuso's earlier experience includes working at Equity Office as the Director of Corporate Engineering from 2005 to 2008. Consolato managed corporate engineering operations and played a significant role in the company's acquisition by Blackstone. While at Equity Office Properties Trust from 1997 to 2005, Gattuso held the positions of Director of Engineering, Midwest Functional Lead, and Director of Engineering, Midwest Region. Consolato managed a large team of engineers, directed preventive maintenance, oversaw capital spending, and was involved in due diligence for property acquisitions.

Gattuso began their career as a Senior Associate at GAMZE, KOROBKIN, CALOGER, Inc., where they designed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various construction projects nationwide.

Overall, Gattuso has demonstrated expertise in technical operations, green practices, and project management throughout their career in the real estate industry.

Consolato Gattuso holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
