Joanna Swindall Greene, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Lead of Gas Forecasting and Pipeline Services at Piedmont Natural Gas since August 2009, having previously held roles as Sr. Pipeline Analyst and Regulatory Analyst within the same company. Prior to Piedmont Natural Gas, Joanna worked as a Senior Corporate Accountant at American Asset Corporation from 2008 to 2009, and spent several years at Ingersoll Rand as a Corporate Accountant from 2005 to 2008. Earlier career experience includes a position as Senior Accountant at Stork from 1997 to 2004 and as a Staff Accountant at Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A. from 1994 to 1997. Joanna holds two Bachelor's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, one in Business with a Concentration in Finance obtained in 1990, and another in Accounting earned in 2008.

The regulated utility segment includes operating a natural gas distribution system. The regulated non-utility activities segment consists of its equity method investments in regulated energy-related joint ventures that are held by its subsidiaries. The unregulated non-utility activities segment consists primarily of its equity method investment in an unregulated energy-related joint venture that is held by its subsidiary.
