Jonathan Fentzke

Jonathan Fentzke is a co-founder and general partner at Far Out Ventures, focusing on pre-seed to seed stage investments at the intersection of vertical SaaS and fintech. As an All Star Mentor at Techstars since 2019, Jonathan has supported over 50 programs and more than 1,000 founders, recognized among the top 1% of mentors in the network. Jonathan also contributes to capital formation and deployment strategies for Techstars' global network of funds and has a proven track record as Managing Director, with 21 investments and 3 exits across different vintages. In addition to these roles, Jonathan serves as an investor in multiple companies, including Kayhan Space and Cognitive Space. Educational background includes a PhD in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with degrees in Entrepreneurship and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Rochester Institute of Technology, respectively.
