Job description

• Broad knowledge of infrastructure functions (Network, Server, Cloud). • Ability to identify creative infrastructure solutions to complex business technology problems in a growing environment with a high rate of expansion. • Proven technology leader with ability to work across groups to identify process and/or technology gaps. • Experience with cloud infrastructure networking. (vNets, Resource Groups, virtual network appliances, managed apps, cost management, vWans, peering, and route tables). • Experience with Cisco Meraki management (Templates, traffic shaping, Group policies, content filtering, etc). • Experience with network protection tools such as DNS Protection, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and Malware Protection. • Significant Experience with firewall rule administration, Azure VPN implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is required. • Network design experience in Azure ensuring near 100% uptime. • Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations in the corporate and store locations. This includes customization of network templates, upgrade of Meraki network equipment as well as troubleshooting of wireless networks. • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources including the setup of firewall rules and role-based access of network devices. • Implement and manage disaster recovery and network communications back-up using Azure and redundant regions. • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades as well as responding to events identified by the security team needing remediation. • Monitor network to ensure optimal performance including the setup/testing of QOS as well as proactively identifying individual store/location bandwidth performance issues/bottlenecks. • Create technical support documentation for networks as well as setup of confluence to assist with team redundancy. • Work through IT projects using Jira. This includes ensuring that proper documentation is provided including realistic due dates, and that updates are kept current. • Collaborate with development, security, and network team management to deliver high quality, resilient, and secure cloud solutions. • Actively triage and resolve Production incidents related to the physical infrastructure/cloud platforms and 2 participate in root cause analysis and retrospective discussions. • Use industry knowledge and experience to continuously assess the environment and drive improvements that use the latest technology. • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate essential technology issues to upper management. • Ensure that baseline “keeping the lights on” activities are performed to ensure a proactive response to potential technology problems. • Experience working with offshore infrastructure IT resources. • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and firmware management based on network load schedules as well as approval from the Change Control board process. • Work with Vendors to provide on-going support/maintenance and other aspects of the relationship such as services and hardware/software upgrades and new purchase POC’s.
