Islam Mahmoud has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Islam began their career as a Pharmacist at Community & Hospital in 1999. Islam then joined Merck in 2002 and served as a Medical Representative and Senior Medical Representative until 2012. During this time, they also worked as an Area Sales Manager from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Associate Brand Manager at Merck and eventually became a Brand Manager until 2015. From 2015 onwards, they joined the Pierre Fabre Group as a Senior Product Manager and later took on the role of National Medical Sales Director and National Sales & Marketing Director for the PFD Unit in 2019.
Islam Mahmoud earned their Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Alexandria University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. From 2014 to 2015, they obtained the Canadian Board of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada. Currently, from 2019 to 2023, they are pursuing a Diploma in Management (General) at McGill University, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, Islam attended El Nasr Boys School from 1989 to 1995.
