Sebastien Schmittlin

Sebastien Schmittlin has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. SEBASTIEN began their career as a Deputy FX Risk Manager in the Trading Room at Valeo in 2005. SEBASTIEN then joined Vivendi in 2006 as the Group Treasury International Treasurer & Treasury Systems Manager, where they managed daily cash flow for subsidiaries in the USA, Canada, and the UK. In 2010, they moved to Pierre Fabre Group as the Group Treasury - Front Office Manager, overseeing the company's financial operations until 2016. SEBASTIEN further progressed within the Pierre Fabre Group, taking on roles such as Financial Business Controller, Business Intelligence Manager, and Lead Performance Manager. In their most recent position, starting in 2022, Sebastien serves as the Head of Business Intelligence & Commercial Data in the Pierre Fabre International Business Unit, where their responsibilities include understanding and analyzing business needs, data gathering and analysis, proposing technical and functional solutions, delivering insights for management and operational staff, and promoting data-driven decision-making. Sebastien has a strong background in financial and treasury management, business intelligence, and data analysis.

Sebastien Schmittlin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General from HEC Montréal in 2005. SEBASTIEN then pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General from EM Strasbourg Business School and completed it in 2005. In 2015, they participated in the Pierre Fabre Corporate Finance Program at Pierre Fabre/CEGOS, focusing on International Finance. Recently, in 2022, they obtained certifications in Data & AI fundamentals and Business Intelligence Bootcamp with Tableau from Le Wagon.
