Vahid Alizadehyazdi has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Quality Assurance Engineer role at Mazda Motor Corporation in 2010. Vahid then moved on to become a Customer Quality Engineer at Groupe Renault in 2012. In 2014, they became a Research Assistant, Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on a National Science Foundation - NSF Project. In 2018, Vahid took on a role as an R&D Engineer at OnRobot. In 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Chicago, working on a new class of morphable and scalable soft robots. Currently, Vahid is a Lead Mechanical Engineer at both Wavemaker Labs and Piestro.
