Matthew R. Barnes

Matthew Barnes is a litigation associate at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, since June 2022, with prior experience as a litigation associate at Dentons Cohen & Grigsby from January 2021 to June 2022. Matthew served as a student attorney at the Georgetown Law Criminal Justice Clinic from August 2019 to May 2020 and as a summer associate at the same firm in 2019. Additional experience includes a judicial internship with The Honorable Justice Debra Todd at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, internships with Luxenberg Garbett Kelly George, P.C. and Lawrence County, PA Courthouse, and participation as a board member on the University of Pittsburgh Student Conduct Peer Review Board. Matthew also held the position of opinions editor for The Pitt News. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Pittsburgh.
