Steven Otu

Steven Otu has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Steven started their career as an Intern at Aarons rents in 2005, where they worked in the Franchise and Auditing Departments. In 2008, they interned at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

In 2009, Steven worked as a Sales/Marketing Business Development Consultant for RE/MAX International Inc. in New Delhi, India. Steven then co-founded iFundie.com in 2010, where they served as the Managing Partner.

Steven co-founded Troopl.com in 2011 and later became a co-founder of Distribb in 2013. At Distribb, they held the role of a co-founder.

From 2013 to 2018, Steven worked at Pigeonly, a company that creates products to facilitate communication between prisoners and their loved ones. Steven started as the VP of Marketing and Analytics, where they played a crucial role in customer insights, customer acquisition, and overall marketing strategy. Steven then became the Chief of Staff and later the Head of Growth and Analytics.

Steven Otu attended The University of Georgia from 2005 to 2009, where they achieved a B.B.A. degree in Real Estate and Economics. In 2008, they also briefly studied Operations Management at Shantou University in Shantou, China.
