Tiina Ahonen

Tiina Ahonen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Tiina currently holds the position of Head Physician in Primary Health Care at Pihlajalinna since 2023. Prior to this, Tiina worked as a Private Practitioner at Seppälääkärit Oy from 2018 and as a GP at Saarikka Health Care from 2019. Tiina also served as a Physician Advisor at Cerner Corporation from 2020 to 2022 and as a Senior Clinical Consultant at EVRY from 2018 to 2019. Tiina's previous experience includes working as a Private Practitioner at Mehiläinen from 2008 to 2019 and as the Head of Department in the Primary Health Care Unit at Keski-Suomen sairaanhoitopiiri (KSSHP) Central Finland Health Care District from 2015 to 2019. Tiina also worked as a Senior Clinical Consultant at Exonor from 2016 to 2018, and as a Health Centre Physician at Jyväskylän kaupunki - City of Jyväskylä from 2013 to 2016.

Tiina Ahonen completed their education at the University of Eastern Finland. Tiina obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medicine in 1990 and later pursued a Ph.D. in Medicine, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a Specialist degree in General Medicine from the same university in 1997. In 2017, they completed a Special Competition in Medical Education offered by the Finnish Medical Association.
