Gavin L. has had a variety of work experiences. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing Business Development Manager for Pikurate, where they crafted insights-backed product positioning messaging and planned and executed go-to-market strategies. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Brand Ambassador for Bento Cafe: Asian Kitchen + Sushi, the Asian American Student Union President, the External Vice President, and the First-Year Leadership Program Director at the Asian American Student Union at UF, a Dental Assistant at Acorn Dental Clinic, a Public Relations employee at Global Medical Missions Alliance (GMMA), and a Keto-Ambassador Research Student at the Food Science and Human Nutrition department at the University of Florida. During their time at the Asian American Student Union at UF, they won the 2022 Asian Kaleidoscope Month Pageant, received the 2022 University of Florida Involvement Campus Collaborator Award, and the 2021 Florida Asian American Student Union Momentary Trailblazer Award. Gavin also raised $300 for the American Cancer Society and $700 for the American Diabetes Association.

Gavin L. attended West Broward High School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Gavin then attended the University of Florida from 2018 to 2022, where they earned their Bachelor's degree. Gavin has also obtained several certifications, including Google Ads Search Certification and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in October 2022, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) from Microsoft in May 2022, Dental Assistant [Expanded Function] from DENTAL ASSISTANT PIONEERS ACADEMY LLC in December 2020, Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from UF College of Dentistry in September 2020, CPR & AED from the American Red Cross in April 2018, Certified Emergency Medical Responder from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in May 2018, and Dental Assistant Radiographer License from DENTAL ASSISTANT PIONEERS ACADEMY LLC.
