Michael Phillips

Michael Phillips is a skilled metallurgist with significant experience in the mining and water technologies sectors. Currently, Michael serves as a Plant Metallurgist at Pilbara Minerals Limited since June 2023. Previously, Michael held positions as a Production Metallurgist and Graduate Metallurgist at Newmont Corporation from February 2021 to June 2023. Earlier roles include Account Service Representative at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions, as well as vacation student positions in metallurgy and process engineering at Evolution Mining and Iluka Resources, respectively. Michael holds a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Finance from The University of Adelaide and completed a leadership and strategy program at the Australian Institute of Management.
