Joy Bruniga, PHR, SHRM-CP has a significant amount of experience in the field of human resources. Joy currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Pillars Community Health, starting in January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at the same company from January 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining Pillars Community Health, Joy held various positions at Pillars from 2012 to 2017. Joy started as the Director of Employee Relations in March 2012 and was then promoted to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources in September 2013. Joy held this position until January 2016.

Joy Bruniga, PHR, SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University. In June 2010, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In August 2015, they earned the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Additionally, in May 2016, they completed the Non-Profit Human Resources certification from the University of Notre Dame.
