Kate Stake currently serves as a Marketing Content Developer and Communications Specialist at Access Marketing Company since January 2022, and holds the roles of Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and Clinical Intern at Pillars of Wellness Inc. since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Assistant at Valparaiso University and a Practicum Student at Behavior Specialists of Indiana. Additionally, Kate has a strong background in athletics, having been the Head Softball Coach at Valparaiso University and an Assistant Softball Coach at Hofstra University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Eastern Illinois University. Kate Stake holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University, a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from Eastern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Illinois State University.

Pillars of Wellness was founded on an approach to mental health that appreciates the many facets of the human experience, namely wellness in mind, body and spirit. Pillars of Wellness draws on the three pillars of health in mind, body and spirit. This holistic approach to wellness utilizes evidence based approaches, specifically interventions related to the care of the mind or psyche. The mind is influenced by the body and the body influenced by the mind. By placing value on the whole person, our interventions aim to help our clients develop and maintain a healthier and more fulfilling life.
