Job description

Location: Based in London's SW18, with frequent travel to the Northwest and West London areas.

Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Role type: Permanent, full time 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Assistant Site Manager for our K&B renewal projects in South and Southwest London. The ideal candidate will be versed in managing teams of trades, will be instrumental in the delivery of the project, directly contributing to the organisational growth targets, and has excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. 

  

Main Objectives of the Assistant Site Manager role: 

  • Supervise, motivate and manage all site-based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work, including carrying out safety inductions; toolbox talks; controlling the quality of work; ensuring method statement and order fulfilment; cleanliness & tidiness; the use of tools, waste reduction; use of personal protection equipment/wear.

  • The Assistant Site Manager will work collaboratively as part of the site team to deliver the required services according to the contract requirements.

  • To ensure that the residents experience a class-leading experience of PiLON to the point where they will recommend our services.

Must-haves and skills required:

  • Construction Skills Certificate Card [CSCS]

  • First Aid qualification

  • Full, clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle

  • Timekeeping and reliability

  • Prioritisation skills and flexibility are required in order to meet commitments and deadlines

  • Organised and excellent Microsoft Office skills

Desired qualifications: 

  • Experience in the social housing sector

  • Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme [SSSTS]

  • Asbestos Awareness Training

  • Health & Safety Awareness
