Colin Horwitz

Colin Horwitz has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry and the development of catalysts. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Research Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where they mentored and supervised chemistry students, instructed various chemistry courses, and conducted research on industrial applications of innovative catalysts. In 2009, they joined GreenOx Catalysts, Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan for the commercialization of TAML® catalysts. Colin also filed patents for new compositions of matter and catalyst applications and conducted field trials for commercial applications. In 2018, they joined Pilot Chemical Company as the Head of Innovation DS&C.

Colin Horwitz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Chemistry at Northwestern University from 1981 to 1986.
