Shehzad Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shehzad began their career as an Accounts Assistant at H Accountancy Ltd in 2013, where they gained experience in preparing sales/purchase day books, processing VAT returns, and reconciling bank statements.

In 2014, Shehzad worked as a Manual Data Operative at Royal Mail, where they were responsible for entering address information into a manual data entry system and ensuring mail was sorted correctly.

Shehzad then joined Barclays in 2015 as a Senior Agent, where they conducted data analysis and investigation for a reconciliation project. Shehzad also collated customer information and calculated interest refunds using Microsoft Excel.

From 2016 to 2023, Shehzad worked as a Financial Analyst at Golden Lane Housing, supporting the financial controller and the accountant with various financial and management accounting tasks. Shehzad also handled complex rent reconciliations for special projects.

In 2022, Shehzad joined Pimberly as a Finance Manager. Shehzad'sresponsibilities include month and year-end journals, multi-currency transactions exposure, raising and chasing invoices, forecasting and budgeting, VAT returns, supervising finance admin tasks, creating monthly reports for board meetings, audit preparation, and liaising with key stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Shehzad has developed skills in financial analysis, reconciliation, data entry, communication, and Microsoft Excel.

Shehzad Hussain (ACMA / CGMA) pursued their education with a focus on accounting and finance. Starting in 2004, they completed their GCSEs at Manchester Academy High School. Shehzad then attended Xaverian College from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an A Level degree in accounting. Finally, from 2011 to 2014, Shehzad attended The Manchester Metropolitan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance.
