Brian Lau

Brian Lau is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Vice President and Cloud Data Platform Manager at PIMCO since January 2024, having previously held the position of Cloud Solutions Architect there from February 2019 to May 2023. Prior to PIMCO, Brian worked at J.P. Morgan from June 2015 to March 2019, contributing as an Associate in Corporate Investment Banking technology and an Application Developer, where notable achievements included developing a time series database and implementing search capabilities for log files. Brian’s leadership experience includes founding BitSquared, a web development company, and participating in internships at J.P. Morgan and Sandia National Laboratories, where skills in web design and development were honed. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
