Julie Meggers

Ms. Meggers is a managing director and global co-head of human resources at PIMCO. Based in Newport Beach, she also serves on the board of the PIMCO Foundation and has served on the executive committee and risk committee. Previously, she was the global head of consultant relations and led alternatives, equities, OCIO, and DC specialist sales across the Americas. Ms. Meggers also held roles leading firmwide strategic initiatives in PIMCO’s executive office and was head of the U.S. endowment and foundation practice. Prior to that, she was a senior member of the public practice and managed strategic relationships across corporate, public, insurance, fund of fund, sub-advised, and other institutional clients. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2003, Ms. Meggers was with Arthur Andersen in their advisory services group, at St. Augustine University in Tanzania as a lecturer in the business school, and at Casa de Clara women's shelter. She has 25 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She earned undergraduate degrees from Santa Clara University.
