Matthias Wieland

Matthias Wieland is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in global compensation and mobility, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Mobility at PIMCO since 2019. With a robust background at Allianz Asset Management from 2012 to 2019, Matthias held key roles including SVP, Global Mobility and Director of Rewards, where efforts focused on modernizing global compensation practices. Prior to that, Matthias contributed to Allianz Global Investors as an HR Senior Compensation Analyst and began the career as an HR Analyst in Allianz Asset Management’s Compensation and Benefits CoE. Matthias earned a Master’s degree in Sociology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
