Roberta Lotti

Roberta Lotti has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research and project management. In their current role as Principal Investigator at Azienda Ospedaliera - Universitaria di Modena, they serve as the scientific coordinator for the "Giovani Ricercatori" grant from the Italian Ministry of Health. Roberta'sproject focuses on developing a novel anti-psoriatic pharmacological strategy by inhibiting HuR/ELAVL1 activity.

Prior to their current position, Roberta worked at PinCell srl as a Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist. Roberta was responsible for leading projects related to the development of monoclonal antibodies for pemphigus treatment. Roberta also had expertise in intellectual property and regulatory aspects of pre-clinical development.

Roberta gained extensive research experience at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. As a Collaboratore di Ricerca, they conducted research in cutaneous biology and pathology, with a particular interest in pemphigus, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Roberta was also involved in training students in their research work.

Earlier in their career, Roberta worked as a Project Manager and IP Specialist at PinCell srl, where they played a key role in the development and regulatory processes of monoclonal antibodies for pemphigus treatment. Roberta also worked as a Consultant in the same company.

Roberta's research journey started at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, where they worked as a Research Fellow. Roberta'sresearch focused on the implications of keratinocytes in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Roberta also gained research experience in the field of skin stem cells and apoptotic mechanisms during their time at the university.

Prior to their time at the university, Roberta held a Research Fellowship Sovvenzione Globale INGENIO at Regione Lombardia, where they conducted research in a global grant project.

In 1994, they completed their Maturità Scientifica at Liceo Scientifico Statale "Belfiore" Mantova.

From 1999 to 2004, they pursued a Laurea in Biotecnologie, with a focus on biotecnologie mediche at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
