Julia McBride

Julia McBride serves as the High School Principal and Director of High School Instruction & New Tech High at Pinckney Community Schools since August 2017, focusing on educator growth and school improvement. Prior experience includes the role of Professional Learning Coach at Michigan Virtual from August 2016 to August 2017, contributing to advancing K-12 education through digital learning and policy innovation. Julia held various positions at New Tech Network from April 2010 to August 2016, including Director of School Leadership, Manager of Coaching, and School Development Coach, emphasizing project-based learning and positive school cultures. Earlier roles include serving as Humanities Advisor and 6th Grade Trio Lead Teacher at University Prep Schools, and as a Social Studies and English Teacher at Infinity Math Science & Technology High School. Julia holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Sociology and English from the University of Michigan, a Master's in Secondary Education from DePaul University, and a K-12 Administration Certification from Michigan State University.
