Remy Muhire

Remy Muhire's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Pindo since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mozilla from 2020 to 2022, where they were the Community Lead for Voice Technology. At Mozilla, they led the creation of a voice dataset in Kinyarwanda and Luganda and managed various stakeholders and partners. Remy also provided advice and technical guidance for the development of a COVID-19 AI chatbot. Before that, Remy worked as the Growth and Community Manager (Africa) at Progate from 2018 to 2020, where they built a community of over 12,000 learners across Africa. Remy also has experience at exuus ltd, where they served as a Board of Directors member from 2016 to 2020 and as the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer from 2016 to 2018. At exuus ltd, they contributed to solution architecture and design, supervised engineering deliverables, and supported team growth and culture. Remy also worked as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Oxfam in 2014 and as a Lead Software Engineer at Digital Creations from 2012 to 2013.

Remy Muhire began their education at Collège catholique Pere Aupiais from 2004 to 2007. They then attended the University of Rwanda in 2013, where they studied Computer Science. In 2020, Remy Muhire enrolled in Udacity and completed a degree in AI Product Manager in 2021.
