Amruta Saraf is a seasoned Research Scientist II at Pindrop, with a tenure beginning in May 2014, specializing in call authentication and fraud detection enhancements using advanced audio and metadata features, as well as Deep Learning applications for voice activity detection in call centers. Previous roles include Research Scientist I at Pindrop, where Amruta successfully executed multiple proof of concepts for Pindrop Protect, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State University, focusing on automated instrument control and circuit design education. Amruta's early experience also includes internships at TE Connectivity, developing LabVIEW solutions, and at KPIT Cummins Infosystems, where an algorithm for regenerative braking in hybrid vehicles was created. Amruta holds a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication from COEP Technological University.
