Karl Byas

Karl Byas is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in managing technology infrastructure and providing training services. Currently serving as an IT Engineer at Pindrop since November 2018, Karl oversees more than 400 endpoints across multiple operating systems and manages the Apple Business Manager. As an Independent Trainer/Consultant since November 2008 at Studio KB, Karl delivers Apple authorized IT training and develops custom training solutions for OS X and iOS. Previous roles include Director of Technology at Gaston Day School, where Karl managed a 1:1 iPad deployment, Director of Information Technology at both Burke County and Lenoir-Rhyne University, and IT Administrator at American University of Sharjah. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
