Vinayak Tambday has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Vinayak is currently working as the Vice President - Banking Alliances and Vice President at Pine Labs since November 2019. Before that, they worked as the Head - POS & Cards Business at Financial Software & Systems (P) Ltd from July 2015 to November 2019. Prior to that, they were the DGM- Merchant Acquiring, m-pesa at Vodafone India from July 2014 to May 2015. Vinayak Tambday also has experience working with Axis Bank Ltd. as AVP & Head Corporate Sales - Merchant Acquiring Business from July 2007 to June 2014. Vinayak started their career at ICICI Bank as a Regional Sales Manager from 2004 to 2007 and at Hutchison Max Telecom Limited as an Account Manager - Channel Sales - DSA from 2000 to 2004. Their early work experience includes working at M & N Publications as a DSM from 1993 to 1996.

Vinayak Tambday completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the Welingkar Institute of Management between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended the Air India Modern School from 1977 to 1987.
